Occupational Therapist Jen Taubensee is inspired by the love, dedication, expertise, and resiliency of families.  She believes that when engaging meaningful activities we find presence, acceptance, and growth, along with the opportunity to build skills and hardiness. She considers herself a “Jen”-of-all-trades in both her personal and professional life. Her personal goal is to grow a little everyday either by challenging her body, thoughts, and assumptions or by doing something that feeds her soul and ignites her passions.

When not working with families to enhance their life experience, Jen enjoys mountain biking, being in nature, listening to music, painting, reading, playing sports, swimming, cross country skiing, playing ukulele, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She married her best friend and adventure buddy in August of 2019 and is grateful to have a partnership that fuels her to chase her dreams.

Jen has earned a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta.  She has had the privilege of working with individuals who experience developmental, physical, and mental health challenges to help make their everyday experience more meaningful. Her focus is on the mind-body connection in every “occupation”.

Did you know that OTs had such extensive training?  It is no wonder they are capable of helping out in such a variety of ways and for such a variety of issues!
