Julia Toews RMT for everyone
Julia is a graduate of the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy program, and has gained great knowledge and experience during the extensive 2 year program. Julia was born and raised in Kelowna!
Prior to becoming an RMT, she worked as a rehabilitation assistant. This sparked her interest in human anatomy and her love for helping people move and feel better. Now as an RMT, Julia is passionate about women’s health and loves supporting clients through prenatal and postpartum care, and working with kids. In the coming year, Julia is excited to continue expanding my skills to include working with infants.
Julia's treatments incorporate myofascial and deep tissue techniques, with occasional use of IASTM tools. Her goal is to improve quality of life through thoughtful care, effective treatment, and personalized homecare to support the wellness of my patients.
Career
Julia provides massage therapy for all teens and adults, with a keen interest in prenatal and women's health. She offers only one-hour treatments, because less just leaves you wanting more.

Weekly Swedish, myofascial, and deep tissue techniques led to clinically meaningful improvements in shoulder range of motion, reduced pain, and improved function, including an 11-point improvement in QuickDASH scores and a 21% increase in ASES scores. These findings suggest manual therapy may be an effective conservative approach for improving shoulder mobility and activities of daily living.]
