With a background in psychology, Dr. Susan brings a deep understanding of mental health and the powerful connection between the gut and the brain. Her approach is rooted in the belief that the body functions as an interconnected whole, and she is dedicated to providing natural, comprehensive care that reflects that philosophy.
Dr. Susan also provides care for a wide range of women's health concerns—including thyroid imbalances, period irregularities, digestive issues, and beyond. Her diverse training includes certifications in Acupuncture, IV Therapy, Prescriptive Authority, and Immunization, allowing her to offer a comprehensive and integrative approach to wellness.

Education
Originally from the small town of 100 Mile House, Dr. Susan moved to Kelowna to complete her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology at UBC Okanagan. She then attended the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster where she completed her naturopathic medical training and deepened her commitment to integrative, patient-centred healing.
Career
Since 2019, Dr. Susan has been proudly caring for families across the Okanagan, bringing both clinical expertise and heartfelt understanding to her practice. After finding her home at AltaVie, she embraced a collaborative environment that aligns perfectly with her values—and hasn’t looked back.
As a mother of three, Dr. Susan brings firsthand insight into the joys and challenges of motherhood. She’s honored to be part of an integrative care team that supports your family’s health journey with compassion, continuity, and whole-person care—every step of the way.

Whether she’s curled up with a good book or experimenting in the kitchen, Dr. Susan finds joy in the simple moments that keep life balanced and full.
